Pelotero Platform UI Update

January 18, 20241 min read

We are excited to share this overview of exciting updates to our web application. The goal of these updates is to make everything easier - for coaches and athletes. We built so many features from a player development standpoint, but the user experience needed an upgrade.

At the core of this change was creating a clean single-player workflow. The previous menu system was a mingled multi-player and single-player experience which was pretty clunky.

New Athlete Dashboard

We pulled all of the core platform functionality directly into the Athlete Dashboard. The original design had the functions like Assessments, Reports and Program Building as stand-alone menu items.

Having this functionality all living in the Athlete Dashboard prevents you needing to search for the same athlete multiple times across different functionality. (And our event module is designed to streamline the multi-player experience.)

Better Notifications

We created new notifications to help you get from data-to-program as quick as possible.

Organization Dropdown

The Organization Dropdown is for coach accounts and allows a coach to quickly switch between organizations they belong to. This simple option was necessary for many reasons and creates a smoother experience for coaches.

Coaches can also set their default organization in their Coach Profile.

Condensed Main Menu

Our main menu had gotten out of control! Putting all core functionality into the Athlete Dashboard allowed us to eliminate two-thirds of our menu. Better menu options help make sure you aren't wasting time figuring out how to make things work.

We are already working on new features and functionality to keep making it easier to help players get better. Stay tuned for updates.

In my mind, Pelotero is the greatest tool created for strength coaches. It takes the most tedious part of our job and does it in seconds. It frees up our time to be better coaches and leaders.

True Grind Systems

Pelotero allows me to do all my in-house assessments and programming. I can send people home with plans for how to get better. It has cut down a ton of programming hours and we don't have to get into excel anymore.
